Orientations vs. Registrations
What's the difference between an orientation and a registration session?
An orientation session is a time to meet with teachers and/or staff to learn new procedures and expectations. Participants in an orientation session would need to arrive at the starting time of the session in order to receive all the information being presented. Classroom teachers and administrators are available to share information with you and answer questions. Not all grade levels at Brown have orientations scheduled.
Registration sessions provide opportunities for parents to come in and take care of obligations prior to the start of school. You'll receive a copy of your child's course schedule (middle and high), and you'll be able to pay for school fees by writing only one check. If your child has any outstanding obligations from the previous school year (i.e., lost textbooks, cafeteria charges) you'll be able to take care of those as well. The PTSA will be accepting memberships and spirit wear will be sold. Class assignments will be shared with elementary parents starting on Monday, August 3rd at 11:00 AM at registration. Kindergarten class assignments will be available during the Meet & Greet at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, August 11th.
Parents with students entering grades K-2 may complete the Instructional Needs Feedback Form by June 10th.
We need volunteers to help work registration tables. Please sign up HERE to help; it's easy and we'll show you exactly what to do.
Class assignments for grades 1 through 5 will be shared at registration. Due to privacy reasons, lists will not be posted.
All kindergarten required paperwork will be collected by records clerk during your child's Kindergarten Intake/Brigance appointment.
All 6th grade required paperwork will be collected during the scheduled orientation.

School Fee Information
School fees may be paid online with a credit or debit card using EZ Pay. As always, fees can be paid in person using cash, check, or money order. We are also able to set up a payment plan for families when needed; please see our bookkeeper for more details. Families who qualify for free or reduced meal prices are not required to pay school fees.
General fees are collected at registration. Other fees, particularly for elective classes, will be collected after the 10th day of school.
Beginning of Year Parent Paperwork
Please check back here in August to complete the paperwork required for all students. Online completion of this paperwork helps us to minimize the risk of transmitting COVID-19 and reduce printing costs and paper waste. However, if you would prefer paper copies of the forms, please contact the school at (502) 485-8216.
